Pholota by Alan Jones The judge for all sections of the exhibition was Barry Green A.R.P.S., E.F.I.A.P./b of Bromsgrove. Barry is a well known member of the Smethwick Photographic Society and has exhibited his work in British and European Exhibitions.
Members
were restricted in the number of entries they could submit for
consideration, the Committee set a limit of 15 prints and
15 projected images per person.
Members were encouraged to enter only their best work. Barry
examined 251 prints and 178 projected
images before making his
selection of prints and projected images which make up this exhibition. 19
members of Dudley Camera Club entered and it is pleasing to note that
everyone who entered has work on display. 187
prints and 128 projected images have been accepted for inclusion in the
Exhibition. The
number of prints which are displayed is governed by the number which can
be hung in the gallery. The
Chairman and Committee offer their thanks to the judge for a job very
well done, thanks are also due to the Dudley M.B.C. for the continued
invitation to hold an annual exhibition in the Dudley Museum & Art
Gallery, also to the Managers and staff of the gallery who welcome the
exhibition each year. Finally thanks are due to the members who have submitted their work for consideration by the judge, without our members’ support there would be no exhibition for us to enjoy and Dudley would be a less interesting place. |
